TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES THROUGH ENGLISH DRAMA PROJECT AT SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES, THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The concept of applying drama in education is not new, but nowadays it has become more and more popular in foreign language teaching and learning. English Drama Project is one of the subjects that students at School of Foreign Languages, Thai Nguyen University are much interested in. This article aims to share the way in which the English drama project applies the project-based learning teaching method to improve language skills for students. A detailed plan is made and conducted during the teaching and learning process in this subject along with student assessment methods mentioned by the authors in the lesson. It is expected that this subject can be widely applied outside the School of Foreign Languages, Thai Nguyen University.
