FROM THE BACSON UPRISING TO THE BACSON – VONHAI REVOLUTIONARY BASE

The Vietnamese August Revolution in 1945 was a great milestone in Vietnamese history. The revolutionary bases played an important role in contributing to the victory of the Revolution. The first Bacson-Vonhai revolutionary base was established during the period of national liberation campaign  between 1939 and 1945 based on geographical, historical and human factors... In particular, the Bac Son uprising (in September, 1940) set the premise for the formation and development of Bac Son - Vo Nhai base. This article focuses on clarifying the connection between the Bacson uprising and the establishment of the Bacson-Vonhai revolution base.
