DEVELOPING ACTIVITIES IN THE DERIVATIVE STOCK MARKET IN VIETNAM

Abstract

This study aims to generalize the basic arguments about derivative securities market and transactions in derivative market in Vietnam and reflect the current situation of derivatives stock market in Vietnam over 1 years of deployment and operation. Based on the limitations pointed out, the study offers a number of solutions to develop derivative securities market in Vietnam: (1) Promoting attracting investors, especially institutional investors and foreign investors; (2) Continue to strengthen goods for derivatives market; (3) Strengthening the supervision and handling of violations in the market; (4) Research and implement reasonable incentive and tax incentive mechanisms to increase attractiveness when participating in derivatives market.
