FOSTERING ECONOMIC EDUCATION CAPACITY FOR CITIZEN EDUCATION TEACHERS UNDER THE NEW GENERAL EDUCATION PROGRAM - REQUIREMENTS FROM REALITY
Abstract
Fostering economic education capacity for citizen education teachers under the new general education program has been set up as a strategic solution to improve the quality of teachers in high school. However, there is no research to explain this issue from practical perspective. Based on the use of theoretical research methods, questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, mathematical statistics and processing of survey results, the essay focuses on clarifying the inevitability and requirements for fostering economic education capacity for citizen education teachers in high schools in Vietnam. The results of the study are of great significance and serve as a basis for reference and orientation for the development of subjects for fostering civic education teachers at high school level to meet the requirements of implementing the program of Education subjects economy and law after 2020.
