CHILD’S PROTECTION AGAINST SEXUAL ABUSE

Abstract

Out of the four groups of children's rights under the UNCRC, the right to protect children against sexual abuse is recognized by the international community and countries and must be implemented. However, in reality, the current crime situation and the number of cases related to child sexual abuse tend to increase year by year. Protection of children against sexual abuse has been studied based on many legal methods, in which the author mainly uses methods of analysis, comparison, interpretation, and also based on secondary data sources which obtained from the provisions of the law, articles, analyzes, opinions of scholars, the author has analyzed, assessed practice as well as law and gave recommendations and solutions to increase awareness and reduce sexual abuse in children.
