INNOVATION ORIENTATION IN TEACHING LEGAL EDUCATION BY THE 2018 GENERAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM IN HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract

Curriculum for Citizenship Education, which was adopted by Ministry of Education and Training on December 26, 2018, was named Economic and Legal education in high school level. This subject is selected according to the student's aspirations and career orientation. In the new curriculum, there are fundamental and comprehensive changes in educational content, especially legal education content. This article focuses on clarifying new legal education contents in the subject, making some comments and assessments on the relevance of the new curriculum, the challenges for applying the new curriculum. From this analysis, the article proposes a number of measures to improve the effectiveness of legal education in teaching economic and legal education in high school.
