Abstract

The birth of the Viet Minh Front was a great creation of the Party led by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc during the revolutionary movement for national liberation. Since its establishment, the Viet Minh Front has a very important role in the process of promoting the strength of the entire people, realizing great national unity, campaigned to carry out the August Revolution in 1945 successfully, taking power over the whole country. Through historical methods and logical methods, analyzing and evaluating documents etc, the research results clearly show that in the years 1941 - 1951, the Viet Minh Front actively mobilized, gathered, built and develop forces to meet the demands of the revolution. The victories of the Vietnamese people in the process of building and protecting the fledgling revolutionary government after the August Revolution and in the early years of the resistance war against the re-invasion of the French colonialists stood out important role and great contribution of the Viet Minh Front. The strong and effective operation of the Viet Minh Front was one of the important factors contributing to consolidating and promoting the victories of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam government in the early years of French resistance. The Viet Minh Front was constantly developing and expanding, making great contributions to the process of building and developing revolutionary forces, making an important contribution to turning the Vietnamese people's resistance against the French colonialists to a new stage with the positive premise.
