ROLE AND ORIENTATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION IN EDUCATION OF NATIONAL DEFENSE AND SECURITY FOR STUDENTS IN THE CURRENT PERIOD
Abstract
Advances in science and technology, especially achievements from the 4th Industrial Revolution, are affecting strongly on defense and security education for students at the centers. This article focuses on researching the role and orientation of information technology application in defense and security education for students at national defense and security education centers. In this article, the author has used research methods including: synthesis method, document analysis, combined with comparative and evaluation methods, along with expert method. Research results have confirmed the role of the application of information technology in the educational environment, that is: Personalization of teaching activities; quick access to knowledge resources; increase interaction and engagement with learners; create an integrated learning environment between offline and online; support lecturers to improve the quality of lectures; innovate assessment methods. At the same time, the author has proposed directions for applying information technology in teaching activities, contributing to improving the quality of national defense and security education for students in the current period.
