Abstract

The objective of this paper was to evaluate the hepatoprotective effect of the liver protection liquid in the liver damage induced by PAR in mice experiment. The study was conducted on 5 groups of mice including control group, group liver injury model, standard treatment group (silymarin 70 mg/kg), two groups with diffirent doses of liver protection liquid 8.1 g/kg and 24.3 g/kg. After 8 days being administed drug, the mice were poisoned with PAR 400mg/kg per oral route. At 48 hours after that, the mice were killed to collect samples and analyze the data obtained. The results show that at daily doses of 8.1 g/kg and 24.3 g/kg per oral route in a course of 8 consecutive days, liver protection liquid had significant effects by decreasing AST and ALT concentration in serum, decreasing the histopathological injury of mouse liver induced paracetamol.
