PERCEPTIONS OF STUDENTS FROM KIEN GIANG TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE ON DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN EDUCATION
Abstract
Nowadays, universities are increasingly focusing on enhancing the digital transformation in teaching practices, and Kien Giang Teacher Training College is no exception. This article investigates students' awareness of digital transformation in education at Kien Giang Teacher Training College. The study was conducted on a sample of 330 students studying at the college, and data was collected through an online questionnaire. The study examines the correlation between different teaching modalities (online, face-to-face, and hybrid) with factors such as educational background and duration of study at the college. The research findings indicate that students' preferences for various teaching models significantly depend on their individual characteristics. However, these factors do not have a significant impact on students' Internet usage habits, readiness for online learning, satisfaction with online education, and computer skills. The results of this study provide valuable insights to improve educational policies, curricula, and teaching and learning methods during the digital transformation.
