ANALYZING THE ERRORS OF STUDENTS OF LAO CAI CHINESE LANGUAGE TRAINING CENTER IN THE FLEXIBLE USE OF THE INTERROGATIVE PRONOUN “什么” AND SOME RECOMMENDATIONS IN TEACHING

Abstract

The flexible use of the interrogative pronoun “什么” (what) has many similar characteristics to Vietnamese. However, there are also differences. This is both an advantage and a difficulty for learners in the process of acquiring Chinese. Through a survey of reality, the study aims to analyze some common errors that learners often make when using the flexible use of the interrogative pronoun "什么", including errors in using wrong words, errors in excess words, errors in missing words, and errors in using words in the wrong place. Research results show that the reasons learners make mistakes are often due to the influence of their mother tongue, the influence of the target language rules. Teachers do not really teach the right focus, and students do not have appropriate learning methods. In addition, some shortcomings of the textbook are also the cause of errors. The article also proposes some teaching recommendations to overcome the above errors.
