HUMANIAN WORK AND ACTIVITIES OF THE RED CROSS ASSOCIATION IN THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE: RESULTS AND EXPERIENCES

Abstract

With the use of historical and logical methods in researching and presenting problems, the article focuses on researching undertakings, analyzing results and experiences in humanitarian work and development of the Red Cross Association in Thai Nguyen province. The research contributes to providing experience and orientation to improve the effectiveness of humanitarian work and develop the Red Cross in Thai Nguyen province in the next period. Research results show that Red Cross organizations at all levels in Thai Nguyen province are consolidated, developed, and operated with quality and efficiency. Associations at all levels in the province maintain activities, replicate and develop volunteer activity models at the grassroots level. The Association promoted the implementation of key activities, achieving many positive results in movements, campaigns and social assistance work; community-based people's health care activities; propaganda work and campaign for voluntary blood donation; Red Cross youth work and other areas.
