CURRENT SITUATION OF SOME DIFFICULTIES IN IMPLEMENTING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF ACTIVITIES OF PRESCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOLS
Abstract
In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the vigorous application and development of information technology and digital transformation in educational management, school administration, teaching, and learning are inevitable trends. Digital transformation responds to the changes in the modern education system, expanding the space, time, materials, methods, and forms of teaching, enabling classroom lectures to surpass conventional limitations. Despite the achievements made, educational institutions, teachers, and students still face significant challenges when implementing digital transformation in management and teaching. This research explores some difficulties in digital transformation of preschool and high school activities. The research team designed a toolkit consisting of two questionnaires for two target groups: students and school administrators-teachers to understand some challenges in the digital transformation process. The results indicate that teachers encounter twelve major challenges in implementing digital transformation activities, while students face nine difficulties in participating in online learning.
