IMAGINERY OF BIG RIVERS RUNNING EASTWARD IN CLASSICAL CHINESE POETRY AND NGUYEN DU'S SINO SCRIPT POETRY
Abstract
There is a deep connection between some works of classical Chinese poets and Nguyen Du's Sino poetry in the scene of a great river flowing to the east. This article aims to clarify the similarities and differences in the description of natural scenes and the expression of humanistic thoughts, the core of which is the sympathy of the authors. The methods of survey, analysis and comparison are used in this study. Research results show that the scene of the Truong Giang river section associated with the ancient battle of Xich Bich, expressed in the works of To Dong Pha of the Song Dynasty and of Duong Than of the Ming Dynasty, became a haunting scene for Nguyen Du, helping him express sympathy not only for himself but also for many heroes in history. This article also contributes to expressing and praising the humanistic thoughts and attitudes of the poets in the ups and downs context of life, contributing to building a positive mindset in today's life.
