Abstract
The study was conducted to survey and analyze the needs, motivations, and the actual conditions ensuring the organization of teaching and training Pickleball for students at the University of Economics and Business Administration – Thai Nguyen University. The article used scientific research methods such as: synthesis and analysis of documents, interviews, pedagogical observations, mathematical statistics... The results show that students’ demand for Pickleball practice stems from the desire to improve health and achieve a well-balanced physique, while their main motivation for practicing Pickleball is interest and enjoyment. The surveyed students all expressed strong support for introducing Pickleball into the university’s physical education program as an elective subject. The teaching conditions are well ensured in terms of both quality and quantity. The above results not only help identify a scientific basis for selecting appropriate training content but also create a foundation for developing a highly practical Pickleball teaching program for students. The implementation of this program will contribute to improving students’ physical fitness, fostering active exercise habits, and enhancing their performance in physical education courses. This also serves as a premise for expanding modern forms of sports teaching in universities.
