RESEARCH ON BUILDING CAPSULE FORMULATION CONTAIN ACTIVE COMPOMENTS EXTRACT FROM CAMELLIA SINENSIS THEACEAE AND CURCUMA ZANTHORRHIZA ROXB

Abstract

The aim of this study was to prepare capsules containing active compoments form Camellia Sinensis Theaceae and Curcuma zanthorrhiza Roxb. Camellia Sinensis Theaceae is extracted by hot dipping method, solvent was acid pH 3,0. Curcuma zanthorrhiza Roxb is extracted by the method of immersion, acetone 70% as a solvent. The ratio of material – solvent is 1 – 10. Extraction time was 4 hours, extract 2 times. After debirs removal and drying, grind the product into CX and NV powder. Preparation of capsules by granulation method with Avicel PH101 dilutents, PVP K30 10% binders mixed with ethanol 50%, magnesium stearate and talc lubricants, capsules zero. Quality according to DĐVN IV standards in perceptible appearance, qualitative, mass uniformity, disintegration, moisture content.
