Abstract

Children’s songs are genre of children’s oral folklore appeared very early and they were developed and associated with each period of human social history. The topic of nursery rhyme usually does not focus on a certain topic, it provides not only natural knowledge but also social knowledge. One of the topics children love is the social life simulation content. Therefore, the nursery rhyme becomes an effective means of education for young children. With that in mind, for the purpose of studying rhyme from the cultural perspective, we mainly use research methods such as statistics, analysis, comparison, interdisciplinary research methods. The results show that the picture of the social life of ethnic minorities is reflected in the nursery rhyme contains people's thoughts and at the same time is meaningful in educating thoughts, feelings and satisfying the needs of fun for children, thereby contributing to create the own value of the genre.
