REALITY AND PROPOSED SOLUTIONS TO INCREASE PRESCHOOL EDUCATION STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSONS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION – THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY
Abstract
Employing some dominant research methods in educational science, this paper has attempted to evaluate students’ learning interests in the course of Physical Education in Faculty of Preschool Education, Thai Nguyen University of Education. Moreover, the paper has investigated the causes for this reality, based on which measures are provided to enhance students’ interests in the mentioned course. It is suggested that the following seven measures should be applied to boost students’ interests in Physical Education lessons in Faculty of Preschool Education in particular and Thai Nguyen University of Education in general. The measures include: Measure 1: Constantly propagandizing the role and significance of physical education training; Measure 2: Upgrading the facilities for the training; Measure 3: Improving course delivery methods and teaching methods; Measure 4: Enhancing the quality and qualifications of lecturers; Measure 5: Using suitable games and competitions in lessons; Measure 6: Organizing more university-level tournaments; Measure 7: Establishing sport clubs for students.
