COMMUNIST PARTY OF VIETNAM’S OPINIONS ON PRIVATE ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT (1996 – 2021) AND RELATED ISSUES

Abstract

Private economy is an economic component in the Vietnamese economy. Since Vietnam’s Communist Party and State had guidelined to encourage the private economy development, the opinions and guideline of the Party on private economic development have been consistent and increasingly improved. This makes an important promotion to the development of this economic component. However, there are some problems that need to be studied further in order to unify cognition, create a change in action for the private economy to become an important engine of the economy. With the historical and logical methods, the article clarified the opinions of the Party on private economy development from 1996 to 2021. Research results confirmed the correctness and creativity of the Party in leading the development of private economy. At the same time, the paper discussed some  related issues and proposed solutions to the development of private economy in the new period.
