SOLUTIONS TO ENHANCE COOPERATION BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES AND ENTERPRISES IN HUMAN RESOURCES TRAINING IN VIETNAM
Abstract
This paper analyzes the current state of cooperation between universities and enterprises in Vietnam through synthesizing national and international studies on this issue. The authors used the research method of secondary documents and the expert method to clearly identify the causes of the situation, evaluate a number of cooperation models between universities and enterprises in human resource training for country. Research results show that forms of cooperation between universities and businesses often focus on training and transferring human resources to businesses, in which developing a learning environment and promoting student mobility is the most common and effective form of the cooperation. Finally, the paper proposes some key solutions to strengthen the cooperation relationship between universities and enterprises, focusing on institutional solutions, improving cooperation efficiency, training program and syllabus renovation, exchange of lecturers and students, thereby contributing to improving the quality of human resource training, meeting the essential requirements of the labor market.
