CONDUCT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS ON THE THEME OF MICROORGANISMS AND METHODS OF RESEARCHING MICROORGANISMS, GRADE 10 BIOLOGY

Abstract

Biology in grade 10 is the foundation to develop students' capacity. According to current learning trends, students are dynamic and creative, and teachers are mentors and leading thinkers. The scientific research method is extremely suitable to be integrated into the lesson. This article uses theoretical research methods and expert consultation methods to refer to, collect and analyze the content of Microbiology and Viruses. The results were used to create lessons and thereby propose procedures and illustrative examples of the design of experimental scientific research activities to develop students' competence in teaching Biology 10. Research results show that students can clearly understand microorganisms and microorganisms' activities in research. Simultaneously, students can apply directly to microbiological research activities, thereby demonstrating the relationship between practice and theory, forming for themselves knowledge and skills in experimental practice skills. This method makes the learning process interesting for students and increases the ability to think critically. The scientific potential and awareness of microorganisms have been developed.
