SOLUTIONS TO TRAINING POSTAL PROFESSION IN THE CONTEXT OF HIGH-TECH DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study the content and methods of postal vocational training at vocational education institutions. In Vietnam, Thai Nguyen College is the only college in the country that provides postal vocational training. In the market, there are many postal service businesses with different technological equipment and performance capabilities, but all aim for business purposes in the field of delivery. The postal movement is shifting towards the focus on delivering packages and developing logistics services. Based on the practical results of a number of domestic enterprises and the annual summary report of the Universal Postal Union, the research has shown the way to conduct the postal service business process before the current requirements in context of postal modernization, digital service and participate in the e-commerce market. From there, the author proposes solutions to train vocational skills for students majoring in postal service business at Thai Nguyen College.
