DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE A TORQUE EXPERIMENT SET FOR TEACHING PHYSICS IN GENERAL EDUCATION HIGH SCHOOLS ACCORDING TO THE 2018 CURRICULUM
Abstract
How to propose and develop a new set of torque experiments to overcome the limitations of the current set? The research aims to provide students with an effective learning apparatus to avoid difficulties and mistakes when conducting force balance and torque experiments in the high school physics program. The research methodology involves meticulous analysis of the constraints associated with the existing torque experiment set, as well as the challenges and errors that students commonly encounter when using this set. Based on these analyses, we have successfully proposed and manufactured a new set of torque experiments according to the proposed experimental equipment construction process. This experiment set enables the execution of most force balance and torque experiments in the 2018 high school physics program. The results of this research have significant implications for innovating physics teaching and learning methods in high schools.
