Some ideological contents of the Frankfurt school and suggestions for Vietnam

Abstract

The Frankfurt School was a major ideological movement in the West in the 20th century. Representatives of this school tried to develop Marxism to criticize modern bourgeois society (critical theory) and point out the way to overcome the "slavery" and "alienation" of modern Western people. The ideology of this school has had a profound influence in the West, especially in the United States. This article studies this school and initially evaluates it, giving suggestions for Vietnam.
