Resource Factors in Economic Growth in the Southern Economic Region of Vietnam

Abstract

The paper uses statistical analysis methods, comparing methods and Pooled OLS regression in order to assess the impact of resource factors on the economic growth of the Southern Key Economic Region (KTTĐPN). The analysis shows that the resource factors play a very important role in economic growth. Depending on each stage of economic development, the state needs to identify the fluctuation of the resource factors in time to have several reasonable solutions to maximize their effectiveness. In conclusion, the article also provides some measures to enhance the role of resource factors in developing the Southern Key Economic Region.
