Factors Affecting Employees’ Working Motivation at Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, Binh Thuan Province
Abstract
The stability and efficiency of production operations at Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant are very important and greatly influenced by the stability of human resources and the working motivation of employees. The study surveyed 279 respondents to identyfy the factors that affect the work motivation of employees currently working at Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant and applied an exploratory factor analysis model. The research results revealed six factors that impact employees’ work motivation, ranked from strongest to weakest as follows: (1) Nature of work (BCCV); (2) Relationship with colleagues (QHDN); (3) Opportunities for training and promotion (DTTT); (4) Relationship with superiors (QHCT); (5) Salary, bonus and benefits (LTPL); and (6) Working environment (MTLV).
