Developing Human Resources at Tourism Enterprises in Phan Thiet City
Abstract
Human resource development makes an important contribution to maintaining and ensuring the quality of services and competitiveness of enterprises, especially in the tourism industry. The research serves as a basis for proposing solutions and providing tourism management agencies, corporate administrators, and educational institutions with scientific, methods, programs, and recruitment processes to ensure the provision of highquality human resources for Phan Thiet tourism. Based on the theories and previous studies, the author also developed a proposed research model. The author used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) model to observe, predict, and test the results that the factors in the model, such as hiring and firing employees, pay policies, the working environment, training and career development, and employer brand, all have a positive effect on the development of human resources in tourism businesses.
