DEVELOPING SMART CUSTOMS IN VIETNAM

Abstract

In the context of deep integration, developing smart customs in Vietnam has become an inevitable requirement. The article analyzes the role of the State, customs agencies and enterprises in this process, pointing out opportunities from modern technology and trade agreements, while also raising challenges in terms of resources and institutions. Smart customs not only helps reduce costs and increase transparency but also contributes to limiting negativity and preventing corruption. To achieve the goal, Vietnam needs to synchronously innovate institutions, technology and human resources, thereby building a modern and sustainable customs system.
