The impact of disclosing corporate social responsibility information on financial risk in companies

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether there is a difference in financial risk between two groups of companies, including companies listed in the Top 100 Sustainable Companies in Vietnam by the “Programme on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Companies in Vietnam (CSI)” organized by VBCSD, and companies not included in this list. The research sample consisted of 60 companies with data from 2018 to 2022. The results of the Independent T-test indicate a difference in financial risk between the two groups of companies. Based on these findings, the research team provides recommendations for companies regarding sustainable development and minimizing financial risk.
