Opportunities and challenges when applying blockchain technology in the banking industry

Abstract

Blockchain technology is creating many important applications in many areas of socio-economic life, including the banking industry. In this study, the author deeply analyzes the benefits and applications of blockchain in providing banking services. Accordingly, the author proposes a number of measures to promote the application of blockchain technology in the banking industry in Vietnam.
