The Current Situation of Human Resource Quality - Proposed Issues

Abstract

Vietnam is a densely populated country, with a large labor force and a young population that holds many competitive advantages. Therefore, over the past three decades, along with a series of economic development mechanisms and policies, investment incentives, the advantage of human resources has also played a crucial role in the country's economic development. Up to now, Vietnam has made significant strides in socioeconomic development, with a notable shift in the labor structure from predominantly agricultural labor to the industrial and service sectors, along with a rise in high-quality labor force. However, alongside these positive outcomes, the issue that arises is to enhance the quality of human resources to meet the demands of the new era - the era of digital transformation with the 4.0 technology platform across all sectors of the economy.
