Abstract

The article employs a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to assess the impact of internal control components on credit activities at Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank in Ho Chi Minh City. The research findings indicate that five internal control components influence credit activities at the bank, including control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring. Based on the research results, the authors propose managerial implications to enhance the effectiveness of the internal control system in credit activities at Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank in Ho Chi Minh City.
