Abstract

This research is to identify the main factors affecting the efficiency of inventory management in the supply chain at the manufacturing enterprises in the area of Da Nang City to have a better understanding of the impacts of each factor and to find the optimal solutions to help enterprises improve their performance and competitiveness. The research results show that there are 8 factors affecting the efficiency of inventory management in the supply chain: (1) Demand forecasting; (2) Lead time supplementing; (3) Order fulfillment; (4) Production and procurement; (5) Customers’ satisfaction; (6) Transportation costs; (7) Inventory purchases; (8) Inventory levels
