The Inheritance and Development of Ho Chi Minh’s Thought on Cultural Heritage in the Draft Documents of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam
Abstract
According to President Hồ Chí Minh, the preservation of cultural heritage is not merely about safeguarding the memories of the past but also about awakening the nation’s internal strength, nurturing national spirit, and serving the cause of building the new socialist human being. This ideology holds timeless value and aligns with UNESCO’s concept of “living heritage” and sustainable development. The Draft Documents of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam further concretize this spirit by emphasizing the linking heritage preservation with cultural industries, digital transformation, and international integration. Accordingly, this article affirms the validity and strategic vision of the Draft Documents of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
