Abstract
In the west coastal region of the Mekong Delta, the in-field irrigation system mainly serves the rice-shrimp production with inadequate and deficient status. In order to meet the requirement of sustainable development in the context of climate change and extreme salinity intrusion, it is necessary to study solutions to renovate, upgrade, and gradually modernize these systems. This action will contribute to economic efficiency improvement and environmental protection.
