Abstract

Soil is an object that is easily polluted, accumulating pollutants from many different sources. In order to have a scientific basis for planning the rational use and sustainable development of land resources, it is necessary to have assessments of soil quality. Through the process of surveying, sampling; processing and analyzing samples; data processing and based on the study of trace elements in soil in Son Dong district (Bac Giang province), the authors have made a preliminary assessment of soil quality in the area. The content of trace elements in the soil is mostly within the allowable limits. However, some manifestations of Cd, Ni, As, Cu pollution in the soil have also been identified. Through the research results, the potential impact of these pollution manifestations on the environment and human health has been assessed, serving as a basis for implementing appropriate measures
when restoring soil and protecting the quality of soil resources.
