DEVELOPING INTELLECTUAL RESOURCES AND BUILDING KNOWLEDGE-BASED ECONOMY IN SWEDEN

Abstract

Abstract: Sweden becomes the world's leading country in terms of knowledge-based economy and intellectual resources. Using literature review method, the paper analyzes policies and practices of developing intellectual resources in Sweden. Building and developing Sweden's intellectual resources is closely linked to establishing a comprehensive education system, strong investment policies in R&D and innovative development in the context of building a knowledge-based economy in general. Sweden's achievements and experiences in this field are valuable lessons for Vietnam and other developing countries in developing their intellectual resources in a knowledge-based economy.
