RESEARCH ON THE IMPACT OF INSTITUTIONAL QUALITY ON ECONOMIC GROWTH - AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of the paper is to evaluate the impact of institutional quality on economic growth in the Southeastern region of Vietnam from 2011 to 2020. Using quantitative data analysis, the research findings suggest that there is no evidence of a relationship between institutional quality and economic growth in the Southeastern region. However, government spending, the quality of the workforce, and the urbanization rate have a positive impact on economic growth. The study also indicates that population density and foreign direct investment do not have an impact on the economic growth of the region.
