THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION IN DAK NONG AND SOME COPING SOLUTIONS

Abstract

Climate change is one of the significant challenges for agriculture in Vietnam in general and Dak Nong province in particular. In recent years, climate change has had considerable impacts on agricultural production in Dak Nong, affecting the livelihoods of the local people and the socio-economic development of the region. Therefore, researching solutions to enhance the adaptive capacity to climate change in agricultural production for Dak Nong province is essential. This article analyzes the impacts of climate change on agricultural production (crop cultivation) in Dak Nong. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes some solutions to improve the adaptive capacity to climate change in agricultural production for Dak Nong province in the coming time.
