RESEARCH ON SOLUTION GROUPS TO DEVELOP GREEN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS FOR HAI PHONG CITY URBAN AREA

Abstract

With rapid urbanization, traffic congestion and conflicts between population growth, infrastructure and environment in big cities are becoming increasingly serious. Actively promoting green transportation is not only beneficial for using more infrastructure resources, reducing traffic congestion, reducing energy consumption and improving air quality, but also orienting healthy lifestyles, improve people's health. By systematically analyzing experiences in developing green transportation in large cities around the world, the article identifies the problems that Hai Phong traffic is facing and at the same time proposes solutions to build Green transportation system for the city meets the goal of sustainable urban development in the future.
