RESEARCH AND PROPOSAL OF SUITABLE AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS AT VIETNAM SEAPORT GROUP NO. 4

Abstract

Implementing the National Plan on Air Quality Management for the period 2021 -2025 with the target of controlling emissions from transportation activities to improve air quality and ensure public health, including seaport operations which also contribute to a significant proportion of emissions and are being considered for various measures to be recognized as green port, environmentally friendly. Depending on the group of seaports with different scales and roles, different solutions will be applied to achieve the set goals. By using the method of overviewing existing solutions combined with the Delphi method of collecting expert opinions to screen solutions, the results of study showed that air quality management solution suitable for Vietnam seaport group no.4 in the current period should focus on the management solution group and the propaganda solution group to achieve long-term goals as well as propose appropriate technical solutions.
