RESEARCH ON THE FACTORS OF STUDENTS THEMSELVES IMPACTING ON STUDYING RESULTS OF 58TH COURSE’S STUDENTS IN ECONOMICS FACULTY

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze how the factors of students themselves affect studying results of 58th course’s students in Vietnam Maritime University’s economic faculty. The data of study were collected from 406 students, research results indicate nine factors that influence studying results of students by SPSS software. Thus, they are sex, score of entrance examination, entrance aspiration, major, participation in extracurricular activities, lesson preparation, absence, studying at the library and web surfing time. Among the nine factors, score of entrance examination and sex are the greatest influence on the studying results of students.
