EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS IN COAL IMPORT AND SHIPPING TO MAKE SURE STABILITY OF COAL SUPPLY SOURCES FOR THERMAL POWER OF VIETNAM OIL AND GAS GROUP (PVN)

Abstract

In the future, thermal power plants in Vietnam will use coal as the main input materials and therefore, it is necessary to ensure the stable supply. Based on the current situation of coal import for thermal power plants in Vietnam, the paper has conducted a comparative analysis on international coal supply and coal export strategies of countries. Consequently, the paper proposes effective solutions to ensure stable coal import activities in the future to supply thermal power plants as well as contributes to the energy security of Vietnam.
