Abstract

This article will analyze and evaluate the significance of the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI) and IMO's EEOI formula; Analyzing the impact of engine's technical condition on its fuel consumption and thus the Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI). Apply into reality, this article also calculates the EEOI Index for M/V. NSU MILESTONE to clarify the impact of the operating condition and the technical condition of the engine on the EEOI index.
