SOME RECOMMENDATIONS IN USING AND PROTECTING GEOGRAPHICAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS IN VIETNAM

Abstract

Geographical indications for agricultural products, especially local specialties in Vietnam is a form of helping to improve the competitiveness of goods, if built and development will greatly contribute to the national interest. In this article the author analyzes difficulties in registration, use and management of protected agricultural products only geographic guidance and propose recommendations and solutions to increase efficiency in conservation activities using and protecting geographical indications for agricultural products in Vietnam, contributing to promoting the development of the foundation modern and sustainable domestic agriculture.
