RESEARCH ON FACTORS AFFECTING THE MANAGEMENT OF SOLID WASTE AT HAI PHONG ENTERPRISES

Abstract

Solid waste management helps to optimize the recycling and reuse of materials, which helps to better protect the environment. However, currently this task is quite limited. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that hinder solid waste management in enterprises. The study used quantitative methods with 165 survey subjects at enterprises in Hai Phong. The results indicate that there are four1 main factors that affect the solid waste management process, including lack of enforcement policies, cost pressures, lack of modern technology, and environmental responsibility commitments. The research results are of great significance for businesses in Hai Phong.
