OPTIMIZE THE LOADING AND UNLOADING CONTAINERS PROBLEM IN VIP-GREENPORT PORT HAI PHONG

Abstract

The cargo loading-unloading in general and container's position ordering in particular are classified as scheduled problem. It requires for finding the best solution with a set of resources and time constraints.  In this paper, the authors proposed an algorithm sorting the containers into free blocks or partial loading blocks. The goal of the arrangement is to expose an optimal solution in accordance with the space characteristics of VIP- GreenPort port, Hai Phong. This algorithm will help to reduce not only the number of operation activities but also the time duration related to load and unload containers.
