SOCIAL WORK KNOWLEDGE AMONG GRASSROOTS-LVEL OF VIETNAM WOMEN’S UNION MEMBERS

Abstract

This paper aims to clarify the current state of knowledge on social work among grassrootslevel Women’s Union officers and to identify the specific knowledge areas they desire in-depth training. A mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, was employed to survey 389 officers across five provinces and cities. The results indicate that most officials possess basic knowledge of social work but have limited application. The study proposes several measures to enhance the social work knowledge of grassroots-level Women’s Union officials to better meet the needs of members, women, and society
