GENDER EQUALITY - OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN THE NEW ERA, THE ERA OF NATIONAL RISE

Abstract

Gender equality is a key factor to achieving sustainable development in the New era - an era of national rise. Using secondary data, the paper focuses on analyzing the opportunities and challenges in the process of promoting gender equality, especially in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the trend of international integration. The paper helps to position gender equality in the new era, clarify the main opportunities and challenges for gender equality in the new era, and on that basis propose solutions to enhance the participation and equal contribution of women in all areas of life. The paper points out that along with different opportunities, there are also challenges in achieving gender equality. The paper also emphasizes the importance of communication, advocacy, and raising social awareness of gender equality, affirming the important role of the Vietnam Women's Union in promoting gender equality, contributing to building a fair and progressive society in the new era.
