Abstract

This paper reviews and summarizes existing theories related to students’ intention to use bike-sharing systems. It also analyzes and combines these models to build a more complete theoretical framework. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and other related factors, the authors propose a research model to explore students’ intention to use bike-sharing systems with ten research hypotheses. This model is expected to serve as a foundation for future studies on bike-sharing systems and help guide the development of bike-sharing services and urban transportation systems in Vietnam, especially in the context of growing urbanization and the need for green mobility options.
